Turntablism meets video DJ’ing, Video DJ Beat a Maxx is setting clubland alight performing on cutting edge technology. With 15 years industry experience, multi award winning and YouTube sensation Video DJ Beat a Maxx is wowing audiences across the world.

Video DJ Beat a Maxx began as an audio turntablist/ scratch DJ winning numerous DJ competitions and working at various clubs and events throughout the UK.

His vast amount of DJ’ing experience landed him gigs all over Europe performing a variety of sets within different types of music genres from dance, house to RnB, and hiphop. After many successful years as a DJ, in 2009 Beat a Maxx incorporated video into his sets and hasn’t looked back since. He now mashes up the biggest tunes along with clips from well known films and TV to create an ingenious mix of sound and video that is captivating audiences at festivals, clubs, and the biggest university events up and down the UK.

The name Beat a Maxx is a reference to ‘Betamax’ the home videocassette tape recording format developed by Sony. Similar to the HD versus Blu-ray format competition of a couple of years ago where Blu-ray took over, Betamax was up against VHS which eventually became the home video standard. Where Betamax is the past, Beat a Maxx is the future.

Maxx has a unique video DJ set up using state of the art technology, and with his exclusive video remixes and masterful video scratching, he is redefining the limits of DJ’ing as the world knows it!
